Seattle Urban Farm Company is such a gem! Our family has used them for several years now. We have a large vegetable garden that my husband and I just aren't in a place to manage ourselves right now. SUFC lets us select the crops we want for our family, has us weigh in on any design/layout thoughts and they plant all of the organic fruits and veggies from either seed or starts, oversee fertilizing and the watering via a sprinkler system they set up for us. They also install any trellising or stakes that are needed and carefully succession plant so that we have delicious fresh greens and other favorites all season long. We buy almost no produce from June through October because we are so well set up with SUFC. Their staff is also lovely, and send emails after every visit letting us know what they did and reminding us what is ready to harvest. I honestly can't imagine our summers without them! Seattle Urban Farm has designed, planted and maintained our family's vegetable garden for the past 3 years. I can't say enough about how wonderful they have been to work with. Under their care the produce grown in our garden has been bountiful and delicious. One of their farmers, Shiloh, plans the layout of the garden each spring based on our preferred crop list, how much of each vegetable we think we can use, while also taking into account when we will be away for vacation. Shiloh takes care of the garden with bi-monthly visits, planting crops when appropriate, trellising crops that need it, as well as weeding, removing spent crops and letting us know which crops are ready to pick. My son's young family loves enjoying all the benefits of a vegetable garden without spending time that they don't have to plant and maintain it. I love seeing my grandkids watching the vegetables grow and picking and eating them fresh from the dirt. I highly recommend Seattle Urban Farm Company to anyone wishing to enjoy fresh vegetables from their own garden or those wishing to get into growing their own vegetables and don't know where to start.

Our family has done business with Seattle Urban Farm Co. for over 4 years. They have always done an excellent job and we go out of our way to recommend them to our friends. Thanks to Seattle Urban Farm Co., our kids are learning how bountiful the land can be, even in the city.

I have really enjoyed working with this company for many projects and they have made me into a better gardener. They have always responded promptly to my inquiries and the work they have done has been of great quality. They are also just really nice people to do business with. They will remain my "go to" garden company!! Their book is great too.

I contacted Seattle Urban Farm this last spring. Colin came out, charged me for doing an analysis and then I got nothing in return. When I emailed, my emails were ignored. When in exasperation I telephoned, he emailed me and told me not to call, he preferred email. So I feel, I gave this company my money and they were only too happy to take, but they never followed through and helped me with my garden. I would never use or recommend this company.
